The AW26 Edit5 October 2026

The Coolest Autumn Winter Collections

The last grains of sand have barely left your suitcase, but fashion has already moved on…. Welcome to Autumn Winter 2026!

As the fashion world shuffles into its metaphorical flip-flops in the back of the closet (a final shout-out to this summer’s most hardworking style), the Borderfree brands are making haste with new collections to delve into.

And with Fashion Month serving up a whole new crop of aesthetics to unpack, AW26 is shaping up to be anything but predictable. From nostalgic Americana and rebellious London dressing to art-inspired tailoring and ‘90s after-party glamour, this season’s moodboard is gloriously eclectic. Here’s our breakdown of the freshest collections that just dropped on Borderfree…

Never Fully Dressed

Never Fully Dressed brings its ‘I am who I am’ London attitude to Autumn Winter 2026. Eclectic to the core, the collection mixes of-the-moment silhouettes with a strong ’70s and ’80s thread, from retro-inspired patterns and shaggy shearling trims to punky tailoring.

Built around the label’s artful, self-expressive energy, the pieces leave plenty of room for interpretation. It’s fashion for playing with personal taste, rather than following a formula. Think: Carrie Bradshaw if she owned an Oyster card and drank orange wine in the East End.

Guest in Residence

Wildly nostalgic, Gigi Hadid’s luxury knitwear label Guest in Residence is taking a (horseback) trip down memory lane for Autumn Winter 2026. Inspired by childhood adventures on farms with her sister, the campaign for ‘Guest in the West’ is a family affair, with Bella Hadid joining in.

Celebrating “the powerful spirit of the American West and its timeless duality: rugged yet refined,” the rodeo-ready collection puts a cool spin on pioneering aesthetics. Think fuzzy cow-inspired intarsia, windowpane-check weaves and traditional equestrian details, made modern through Guest in Residence’s signature knitwear lens.

Veronica Beard

Veronica Beard is channeling the women who paved their own way for Autumn Winter 2026. Dubbed “Trailblazers,” the collection takes cues from icons including Joan Didion, Bethann Hardison, Donna Karan and Amelia Earhart, translating their independent spirit into a wardrobe with plenty of attitude.

The result is polished but never too precious, with strong shoulders and menswear-inspired tailoring (softened through a distinctly feminine fit). The ‘borrowed from the boys’ aesthetic is mixed with a little old-school glamor, with Hollywood-esque details like cabochon buttons, faux-fur linings and reversible layers.

Ulla Johnson

The buzz of the Big Apple meets a dreamy, well-travelled perspective for Ulla Johnson’s AW26 collection. The NYC-based designer brings whimsical elements to a weather-ready rotation of cocoon outerwear and structured silhouettes. Like a day spent darting between SoHo galleries, downtown coffee spots, and the West Village, this season is an eclectic mix of many elements working together.

Highlights include shearling mixed with lace, dynamic tassels on tactile knitted designs, and languid silk mixed with ornate brocade florals.

Victoria Beckham

Disciplined and precise as ever, Victoria Beckham has added a new cultural footnote to its Autumn Winter 2026. This season, the designer turns to the art of Tamara de Łempicka, drawing on the Polish painter’s neo-classicism and cubist sensibilities.

Taking aesthetic cues from her work, the collection is centred around statuesque pieces and an “enamel-like colour language.” Highlights include angular tailoring with cutout and deconstructed elements, exaggerated proportions, fluid silk silhouettes, and dynamic pintuck and folded details.

Simkhai

Simkhai infuses its signature take on contemporary cool with an after-dark energy for Autumn Winter 2026. The collection plays with sharp tailoring, fluid silhouettes and tactile textures, landing somewhere between downtown cool and full-on occasion dressing.

Rendered in a palette of glossy black leather, deep plum, and rich chocolate, the collection sees sculptural shapes meet with elongated proportions, intricate knits and unexpected details, while draping keeps everything feeling fluid. Captured via a lookbook that “celebrates longtime friends and new faces of the brand,” this collection is right on time for party season.

Kujten

French knitwear with a fashion-week mindset. For Autumn Winter 2026, Kujten plays with oversized proportions and beautifully off-kilter layers, serving up soft essentials that actually have something to say.

Giving cashmere a cooler, more directional edge, slouchy silhouettes are sharpened with sculptural shapes, such as tactile knits, elongated lines and unexpected layers. Crafted in a classic palette (think: chestnut brown, deep burgundy, soft oatmeal), when it comes to cozy season, Kujten practically invented it.

Retrofête

RETROFÊTE · Autumn Winter 2026

Retrofête might be known for its iconic late-night aesthetic, but its Autumn Winter 2026 collection is actually inspired by staying in. Drawing on opulent European interiors, the NYC label channels an after-party spirit through moody, ornate and slightly undone elements, with subtle nods to ‘90s nightlife.

With sequins, sculptural draping, sheer layers and body-skimming shapes aplenty, the collection is all about movement and impact. Expect slinky, liquid silhouettes and robust leather outerwear that wouldn’t look out of place in the archive paparazzi shots of some iconic party decades ago.
